Refund and Cancellation Policy

Effective date: September 30, 2026

This policy applies to services purchased from Next Level Bids unless a written agreement states otherwise.

Before work begins

You may request cancellation before work begins by emailing contact@nextlevelbids.ca. If approved, we may issue a refund less payment-processing fees, administrative costs, or work already performed.

After work begins

Once work begins, the purchase is generally non-refundable because time has been reserved and professional work has been performed. Any request will be reviewed based on work completed, documents received, time reserved, and costs incurred.

Unused hours

For hourly or package-based services, unused hours do not have cash value and are not refundable after work begins. Unless otherwise stated in writing, unused hours may remain available as a credit toward future work, subject to availability, scope, and any applicable expiry period communicated at purchase.

Client delays

If you do not provide required documents, information, approvals, or responses, the project may be delayed. Delays do not automatically create a right to a refund.

Missed meetings

You must provide reasonable notice if you need to reschedule a meeting. Missed meetings or late cancellations may count toward purchased service time where preparation or reserved time has been incurred.

Training and fairness-monitoring engagements

Training, fairness-monitoring, procurement-support, and scheduled advisory engagements may require advance preparation and reserved personnel time. Once preparation or delivery begins, those amounts are generally non-refundable.

Deliverable concerns

If you believe a deliverable does not match the purchased scope, contact us within seven calendar days of delivery and identify the specific issue. We may, at our discretion, correct a material error that falls within the original scope.

A disagreement with professional judgment, evaluation interpretation, strategy, or commercial recommendations is not automatically a defect.

Chargebacks

You agree to contact us before initiating a payment dispute or chargeback. We may provide the payment processor with relevant order, communication, service, and delivery records.

How to request a refund

Email contact@nextlevelbids.ca with your name, business name, order or invoice number, purchase date, reason for the request, and supporting information.

Approved refunds will generally be returned through the original payment method. Processing times depend on the payment provider.

Nothing in this policy limits rights that cannot legally be waived or excluded.
